Texas Coalition of Diaper Banks is dedicated to making diapers accessible to all families in Texas, now and in the future. The Coalition members meet immediate needs through distribution of diapers and other basic necessities. We also work together to raise awareness of diaper need and advocate for beneficial policies and legislation at the city, county, and state levels.

Texas has a population of 1.5 million children under 3, of whom 23% of those under 3 living in families that earn less than 100% of the Federal Poverty Line (FPL)
1 in 3 U.S. families struggles to provide enough diapers to keep their baby clean, dry, and healthy.
Without enough diapers, infants and toddlers are at risk of skin infections, open sores, urinary tract infections, and other conditions that may require medical attention. When mothers cannot provide enough diapers for their children, they are more likely to experience maternal depression.
Diapers are not covered by any federal assistance program.
Diaper Banks help fill this need through providing diapers directly to families or providing diapers to partner agencies that service families in need.
Since the pandemic, diaper banks reported a 200%-600% increase in demand for their services, and on average, diaper banks stretched limited resources to increase their work by 86%.
